The Tracer All-in-One unit contains the most compact integrated 12.1 inch all-in-one unit on the market today. This rugged computer was designed from its inception to meet the needs of public safety professionals and the environments they face every day. Its Intel M-processors provides you with the performance you need. The display is enhanced by the addition of anti-reflective films to the LCD/Touch Screen assembly for readability in bright conditions encountered inside vehicles. The display is fully dimmable for night-time viewing or may be switched off for a covert approach to a scene. Our Sealed case design utilizes heat pipes for heat dissipation eliminating the need for noisy cooling fans. A thermal protection feature initiates an orderly shutdown when the computer is left on in an un-air conditioned vehicle and subjected to a high sun load. The Hard Drive is shock mounted for rugged use. Extreme low temperatures are handled by an optional Hard Drive. Our unit is equipped with a high-resolution display to make best use of the latest mobile police software. Featuring 64 megabytes of video memory this will allow for smooth playback of videos. The Tracer unit also contains a DVI (Digital Visual Interface) port on its back allowing for another monitor to be connected. This allows for complete dual-screen functionality in the back of an ambulance or inside a command vehicle without the purchase of a second computer. Other options include an extreme temperature hard drive for operation to -20C, capacitive Touch Screen and mini PCI options (802.11b/g, firewire, etc.). Removable Screen protectors also available
