SpaceSaver Keyboards by Datalux

Your workload keeps getting bigger, you desk gets covered and it seems that your workspace keeps getting smaller! You need the functionality of a full-sized keyboard, but just don’t have the space. What‘s the solution? The Datalux SpaceSaver Keyboard!

SpaceSaver Keyboards provide all the functionality of a standard desktop keyboard in a smaller package. How do we do it? SpaceSaver Keyboards have compressed “row” spacing (instead of compressed “column” spacing), narrow borders and re-arranged key clusters. The result is a keyboard with a 40% smaller footprint that has the same keys and the same functions as a full-sized 101-key keyboard. When your workspace is small and cluttered, that savings in space is huge!

Want to save even more space on your desktop? Some models of the SpaceSaver Keyboard include a GlidePoint Touchpad as a compact alternative to a mouse and mouse pad. The GlidePoint Touchpad can provide precise cursor control and is ergonomically designed to eliminate stress on your wrists. In addition, the GlidePoint Touchpad is reliable, durable and maintenance free. Integrated into the SpaceSaver Keyboard, the GlidePoint eliminates duplicate cursor control key functions and fits in the same space atop the SpaceSaver Keyboard.

SpaceSaver Keyboards come in 3 different models:

  • SpaceSaver "Desk" Keyboard – Elevated front to back and with a weighted base
  • SpaceSaver "Tray" Keyboard – Flat and only 22mm high with folding feet to elevate back
  • SpaceSaver "Panel" Keyboard – Perimeter lip and retaining bracket to mount under a surface

Each model is available in White or Charcoal color and either with or without the GlidePoint Trackpad. All SpaceSaver Keyboard models connect via USB and are supplied with a USB to PS/2 adaptor.
