LCD Monitors and Touch Screens by Datalux

LCD Monitors from Datalux are designed to meet industry standards and engineered for demanding environments. LCD monitors are compact and are supported by a myriad of mounting alternatives by using the incorporated VESA mounting plate on the back of the monitor.

Common applications for monitors and touch screens from Datalux include:

  • Industrial monitoring and control
  • Automobile installation
  • Public safety applications

In many industrial applications, a Datalux LCD Monitor may be mounted on or near industrial machinery for control and monitoring. In other instances, the equipment may be embedded into factory equipment, installed in a motor vehicle or mounted on heavy equipment.

Datalux LCD Monitors incorporate a protected, industrial grade LCD module with replaceable backlights. The integrated speaker utilizes a membrane to prevent the ingress of moisture.

LCD Monitors are designed to be easily readable and some models are designed to be viewed outdoors in bright daylight.

LCD Monitors are available in 2 sizes:

  • 10.4” (diagonal) 590 nit* SVGA or XGA display with contrast ratio 450:1
  • 12.1” (diagonal 380 nit* XGA display with contrast ratio 600:1

The XG12i model uses an LED backlight to provide an extremely bright 1000 nit* display, viewable outdoors, even in direct sunlight.

LCD Monitors are completely sealed with an all-metal enclosure. They support a wide range of input voltages (8-18VDC, 12V vehicle power) or can be supplied with an optional 12VAC adaptor. The VU monitors support a wide viewing angle. For models with the optional touch screen, the touch interface can be either USB or RS-232 (specify when ordering). When the USB touch interface option is selected, a USB port is available on the display and can be used for a keyboard, mouse or other USB device.

* The addition of a touch screen will reduce the display brightness by about 15%.
